Having graduated MGIMO University in 1989 worked as an analyst for Western Europe countries in “Literaturnaya gazeta” (Literature Newspaper). Was a reviewer, assistant editor and later finances department editor in the publishing house “Kommersant”. Worked as editor-in-chief deputy in newspapers “Russkiy telegraph” (Russian Telegraph) and “Vremya novostey” (News Time). Headed Moscow bureau of the magazine OST in WEST (Munich, Bavaria). Former editorial board member of the magazines “Kompaniya” (Company) and “Populyarniye finansi” (Popular Finances). Collaborates with a number of Online-newspapers, authology “Laboratory of advertisement, marketing and Public Relations” and weekly magazine “Ogonek”. In March 2004 was one of the founders of the training centre of the Russian Agency of International Information «RIA Novosti». Conducted there an array of trainings for journalists and press-servicemen. Winner of the award of the Russian Union of Journalists for the best journalist work on economy of 1993 and award of the Association of Russian Banks of 1999.

Professor at the Faculty of International Journalism since 1997. Held courses in disciplines “Business Journalism” and “Foreign Journalism”. Gives master-classes in Journalism for first- and second-year students, delivers lectures in PR-technologies and Business-PR.

In December 2003 defended thesis “Print Media as an actor of social reforms in Russia” at the department of Sociology.
