ASEAN Academic Days: online lecture “The ASEAN Regional Forum: Challenges and Prospects” with Tan Sri Mohamed Jawhar Hassan

ASEAN Centre continues its series of online lectures titled “ASEAN Academic Days 2021 in MGIMO”. The next guest lecturer is Tan Sri Mohamed Jawhar Hassan, Senior Advisor, Asia-Europe Institute, University of Malaya and Board Member at the Institute of Advanced Islamic Studies (IAIS). The event will take place on May 12, 2021 (Wednesday) via Zoom platform at 10:30 AM (Moscow time) / 3:30 PM (Kuala-Lumpur time). To participate in online format please fill out the registration form. The registration will be open till 3 PM (Moscow time), May 11, 2021. The invited speaker will share his views on the perspectives of the ASEAN Regional Forum and its role in Southeast Asia and in the Asia-Pacific region.

The next guest lecturer is Dr. Xue Gong, Assistant Professor in China Programme of S.Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The event will take place on April 26, 2021 (Monday) via Zoom platform at 10:30 AM (Moscow time) / 3:30 PM (Singapore time). To participate in online format please fill out the registration form. Webinar Series “Moscow to Manila (MoMa)” dedicated to the 45th Anniversary of the Russia-Philippines Diplomatic Relations

The Benilde School of Diplomacy and Governance in partnership with the ASEAN Centre will be hosting a webinar series entitled “Moscow to Manila (MoMa): A Webinar Series commemorating 45 years of Philippines-Russia Bilateral Relations”. The MoMa webinar series will be kicking off on Tuesday, 13 April 2020, at 2:40 PM (Manila time) / 09:40 AM (Moscow time) with the Webinar on Cultural/People-to-People Relations which aims to familiarize Filipino and Russian students of the cultural ties and partnership that bind the Philippines and Russia throughout these past 45 years, as well as the future prospects they hold in further strengthening the friendship of our two peoples.
