June 3rd, a delegation from the University of Urbino in Italy, led by its Rector Vilberto Stocchi, came to MGIMO University.
The guests were greeted by MGIMO’s Vice-Rector for Graduate and International Programs Andrey Baykov, the Dean of the School of Government and Politics Henry Sardaryan, the Deputy Dean for Research and the Deputy Head of the Department of Dissertation Councils Ekaterina Antyukhova and the Deputy Dean for International Cooperation Sergey Komarov.
During a solemn ceremony, the parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Scientific Cooperation on behalf of their universities. The framework agreement allows for the implementation of joint research projects, publishing activities, organizing scientific conferences and seminars, cooperation at postgraduate level, setting up dual PhD programs and student and faculty member exchanges.
