On June 1st, the International Institute of Energy Policy and Diplomacy (MIEP MGIMO) hosted the meeting between its Director Professor Valery Salygin and the General Secretary of the Institute of Russia of Tsinghua University Liu Wei, who is in charge of implementing the Cooperation Agreement on Training between Rosneft, MGIMO University and Tsinghua University, and the Treaty on Educational Services Provision between MGIMO University and Tsinghua University.
During the talks, Ms. Liu Wei said that the Institute she heads is responsible for cooperation with Russia in education and research.
The meeting was devoted to such issues as further education programs at MGIMO University, MIEP MGIMO and Tsinghua University, expanding cooperation within the framework of the joint MBA program International Oil and Gas Business, establishing a Sino-Russian institute of energy cooperation at MIEP MGIMO and Tsinghua University, developing joint master's dual degree programs in Economics and Management by MIEP MGIMO and Tsinghua University, and others.
Agreements were reached on organizing a meeting of the leadership of MGIMO University, MIEP MGIMO and Tsinghua University on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in June.
