March 16th, the Education Coordinator of the General Consulate of Greece responsible for the Greek language and culture in Eastern Europe and the CIS, Chrysa Tamisoglou and the lecturer Dionisy Marulis came to MGIMO to discuss cooperation in education.
A meeting was held with MGIMO’s Vice-Rector for Graduate and International Programs, Andrey Baykov. During the interview, the sides mulled over the opportunities to deepen collaboration between MGIMO and universities in Greece, reviewed the prospects for MGIMO students to participate in mobility programs such as Erasmus + and considered implementing joint educational and cultural projects on the basis of the University.
Chrysa Tamisoglou was taken on a tour of the University by Professors from the Greek Department and met with students studying the Greek language. The guest thanked MGIMO for its warm welcome and expressed readiness to support the University’s projects to promote the Greek language and culture in Russia.
