MGIMO Participates in All-Russian Conference «Path to Success»

January 27th-28th, the «Sirius» Educational Center for gifted children in Sochi hosted the first All-Russian Conference «Path to Success», devoted to supporting talented youth in the framework of a larger strategy for the scientific and technological development of the Russian Federation. MGIMO was represented at the event by a delegation led by its Vice-Rector for Human Resources Vladimir Morozov.

Over 300 experts in career management gathered at the forum. The conference was opened the Russian Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets, the Aide to the President of the Russian Federation Andrei Fursenko and the Head of the «Talent and Success» Foundation Elena Shmeleva. The event counted many panel sessions, round tables and working groups dedicated to discussing new strategies for Russian education and outcomes on the labor market.

Vladimir Morozov gave a talk on the new approaches to monitoring the employment of graduates, describing effective ways to collect extensive data in order to get a clear picture of the demand for university graduates in each sphere of training. The Vice-Rector also participated in a working group of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, chaired by the Deputy Minister of Education Veniamin Kaganov and dedicated to supporting children of exceptional ability.
