April 2nd, a delegation from the Korean National Diplomatic Academy led by the Dean for Planning and Evaluation Park Chon Sok came to MGIMO. The guests were greeted by MGIMO’s Vice-Rector for Graduate and International Programs, Andrey Baykov.
During the interview, the sides mulled over a myriad of issues, among them budget planning, the organizational structure of universities, fundraising and the organization of research and scientific activities.
Andrey Baykov described to the guests MGIMO’s cooperation programs with higher education institutions in Korea, in particular the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and Kyung-Hee University. The Vice-Rector also remarked that 40 students from the Republic of Korea have participated in student exchange programs with MGIMO.
The meeting was also attended by the Head of the International Office Egor Andreev and members of the Faculty. The Korean delegation comprised representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea.
