October 27th, MGIMO Rector Anatoly Torkunov greeted the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Russia, Regina Veronica Maria Jones-Bos, and the Advisor of the Embassy for Political Affairs.
The meeting was also attended on MGIMO’s side by the Senior lecturer, Head of the Dutch language section of the Department of North European and Baltic Languages, Larisa Shishulina.
Anatoly Torkunov related to the guests the history of the University and its long-running tradition of teaching foreign languages, including Dutch. The Rector also spoke about the University’s international and exchange programs.
During their interview, the sides mulled over key topics of current affairs and discussed Russia’s foreign policy priorities.
