September 4th-11th, the International Youth Educational Forum «Eurasia» took place in Orenburg and gathered over a thousand young people from 77 countries. The event was organized by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, the Youth Resource Center, the Government of the Orenburg Region and MGIMO University.
The «Eurasia» forum has become a major international youth platform in Russia. In view of this event, MGIMO created an original educational program highlighting recent trends in the field of global politics, humanitarian cooperation, innovative technologies, entrepreneurship, and social projects. A delegation from the University set off for Orenburg in order to help implement the program.
MGIMO representatives moderated and participated in sessions dedicated to a myriad of different topics including integration processes in Eurasia, overcoming global challenges, the future of education, the media in the modern world, the digital transformation of the world economy and the role of soft power and public diplomacy in international politics. MGIMO also held an exhibition stand presenting the University’s different academic programs.
