March 10th, MGIMO’s Vice-Rector for Graduate and International Programs Andrey Baykov welcomed the Ambassador of Ecuador to Russia Julio Prado Espinosa and the Ecuadorian Ambassador Luis Gallegos who headed the diplomatic missions of Ecuador in the United States, Bulgaria, Australia and the European Union.
Andrey Baykov spoke of the current structure of MGIMO and the different programs in which foreign students can enroll. He also described to the guests the exchange programs and dual degrees MGIMO carries out with some of the world’s top-notch universities.
The Ecuadorian Ambassadors then gave a lecture to an audience of students studying Spanish and faculty members. The speakers answered questions about integration processes in Latin America, the presidential elections in Ecuador and Russian-Ecuadorian relations.
