May 20th, in Podushkinsky forest, a team from MGIMO’s Odintsovo campus took part in the «Clean Games» competition. A number of volunteers from the University also helped to organize the event.
The importance of the initiative was underlined by the Governor of the Moscow Region, Andrey Vorobyov, who thanked the organizers of the «Clean Games» and noted that such events attract the attention of a wide range of people to environmental issues.
The competition was also attended by the Special Presidential Representative for Environmental Protection, Ecology and Transport Sergei Ivanov, the Director of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives Svetlana Chupsheva and other political figures.
MGIMO’s team came first in the competition and its members were awarded a helicopter flight and trips to a youth camp. After the event, the Governor of the Moscow region held a work meeting at MGIMO’s Odintsovo campus.
