May 24th, the Rector of the University A.Torkunov met with the Ambassador of Great Britain to Russia Deborah Bronnert.
MGIMO’s Vice-Rector for Research A.Baykov, the Head of the International Law School A.Vylegzhanin and the Head of the Department for Cultural and Educational Activities of the British Embassy attended the meeting.
During their interview, the parties spoke about Russian-British academic exchanges, MGIMO's cooperation with British universities and the joint bachelor's, master's and postgraduate programs currently being implemented. Further attention was given to scientific collaboration with British think tanks.
Ms. Bronnert accepted the offer to speak to MGIMO students in the framework of the ‘Ambassadorial Dialogue’ cycle of lectures this autumn.
