June 6th, Chinara Adamkulova, Acting Rector of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, came to MGIMO University.
The guest was greeted by MGIMO’s Vice-Rector for Graduate and International Programs, Andrey Baykov, the Head of the International Office Egor Andreev as well as the Head of the Department of Integration Studies, Nikolai Kaveshnikov. The visiting delegation also included an Adviser of the Kyrgyz embassy in Moscow.
During their meeting, the sides agreed to take one step further the Agreement on Cooperation, which they signed in 2014 and to launch exchange programs for undergraduate and graduate students specializing in Regional Studies.
Nikolai Kaveshnikov also invited the guests to participate in a conference on June 14th dedicated to the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and Central Asian countries of the former Soviet Union.
