WHO WE ARE
Future World Diplomats (FWD) is MGIMO’s only English-speaking club, striving to allow students to connect with other students and professionals and to put their theoretical knowledge into practice. FWD was founded by students of MGIMO and offers especially our international students to get involved in the university’s student life. Our goal is to facilitate free and open-minded communication between future diplomats and organisations both within our home university of MGIMO and abroad. Through objective and inclusive dialogue, we seek to gain a better understanding of the world we live in. Our events include debates, meetings with professionals, round-table discussions with other universities. We also offer opportunities to meet and connect (and to practise English!) in more informal settings.
Our events aim to develop diplomatic skills and encourage networking in order to assist our members in pursuing their future careers.
