Department of Management

The Department of Management was set up as part of the School of Financial Economy.

The aim of the scientific and pedagogical team is to familiarize students with the main problems and theoretical approaches of modern management.

The education is organized at the Bachelor’s programs:

  • Foreign Economic Activity Management
  • Financial Management

Master’s program:

  • Event Management.

The courses delivered by the Department of Management enable the graduates to conduct research, to analyze up-to-date trends of international economic environment.

At present more than 80 courses are taught with the major ones such as Innovation Management, International Management, Strategic Management, Financial Management, Project Management, Operations Management, HR Management, Anti-crisis Management, Event Management, Marketing, International Marketing, Organizational Behavior, International Business Operations, Logistics and others.

For implementing the core educational programs are attracted highly qualified teachers who have extensive experience in scientific, educational and practical work, as well as experts.

The main goal is to develop students’ practical professional skills, to teach them to take decisions in authentic market circumstances through new interactive methods, case studies, business role playing games, multi-media facilities applied for lectures, round table discussions and conferences. Competency-building approach is realized through all these methods. Students will learn to make high-stake decisions while building and sharpening their ability to effectively influence others across various cultures, business functions and hierarchies.
