Founded in 2011, the School of Applied Economics and Commerce is MGIMO’s youngest school. It is unique for its BA program in Ecology and Wildlife Management, one of the first on the Russian education market, which develops expertise in the field of economic and ecological issues.
School alumni will have management skills for economic and business issues, including sustainable development of the world economy, the social responsibility of business, and international ecological issues.
The BA program in trading targets students looking to develop a thorough understanding of the theoretical and methodological foundations of the global commodities and services trade, and acquire practical skills in planning and executing commodity market deals.
The School’s teaching methods include case-studies, role playing, computer simulations, site visits, and project implementation, under the aegis of MGIMO’s leading professors and lecturers.
