In 2004 A.Toropova graduated with honors from the Faculty of International Journalism of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO).

In accordance with the Order of MGIMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia dated December 30, 2021 No. 1104, based on the decision of the MGIMO Dissertation Council No. 22.00.01.0003 dated December 24, 2021, based on the results of the public defense of the dissertation at the Department of Sociology of MGIMO on the topic "The socio-political context of the formation of the research agenda of Greek sociologists", a scientific degree of candidate of sociological sciences, specialty 22.00.01 — Theory, methodology and history of sociology. Scientific adviser - Doctor of Sociology. Sciences, Professor A.V.Noskova.

Since October 2022, A. Toropova is an associate professor of the department.

Work experience as a teacher at MGIMO: from 2004 to the present.

She has experience of working with international delegations, at forums, conferences and exhibitions.

Conducts all language aspects, including the basic grammar course, special translation, linguistic and regional studies, home reading, language course.

Regularly takes part in scientific conferences, seminars and round tables organized at MGIMO, Moscow State University, KubGU (Krasnodar), Thessaloniki Aristotle University (Greece), etc.

A.Toropova has wide experience in organizing international conferences, seminars, round tables, literary competitions, preparing groups of students for responsible international projects.

She conducts active extracurricular work with students, participating in literary and historically significant events, exhibitions, translation competitions, as well as within the MGIMO Greek Language Club and NSO Student  Club of Greek Language.

Foreign languages: Greek, English.

Professional and scientific interests — linguistics, Hellenistics, intercultural communication, linguistic and regional studies, communication psychology, sociology of Greece, history and culture of Greece and Cyprus, modern methods of teaching foreign languages in higher education.
