Vladimir Salamatov

Prof. Vladimir Salamatov, CSc (Tech.), DSc (Econ.) 

1980 — graduated from the Moscow Vehicle and Road Construction Institute in Mechanical Engineering; 

1998 — graduated from the Academy of Finance under the Russian Government in Credit and Finance. Corresponding Fellow of the Russian Academy of Missile and Artillery Sciences, Class 2 Active State Advisor of the Russian Federation, author of academic works on military economics and technical regulation, inventor, holder of patents in engineering. 

1983 to 1995 — research fellow. 

1995 to 2004 — department director, Deputy Chairman of the Board and Vice-President of commercial banks, including in Evrofinance and Vneshtorgbank. 

2004 to 2008 — Deputy Department Director at the Ministry of Industry and Energy of the Russian Federation. 

2008 — Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. 

2010 to 2011 — Coordinating Committee of the Customs Union (Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan and Russian Federation), in charge of technical regulation and use of sanitary, veterinary and phytosanitary measures. 

2012 to 2016 — Managing Director of the World Trade Centre in Moscow. 

Since 2016 — CEO, International Trade and Integration, LLC. 

2013 to 2016 — Chairman, Committee for Economic Integration between SCO and CIS under the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. 

July 2013 — Chairman, Public Board under the Federal Accreditation Service RusAccreditation. 

September 2013 — holds the chair of international commerce at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA). 

2014 — recognised as CEO of the Year in the Growth Performance category of The Moscow Times Awards.
