November 27th, MGIMO University welcomed the Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia, Vladimir Zhirinovsky. After an interview with MGIMO Rector Anatoly Torkunov, the guest delivered a lecture to students devoted to the topic: «Russia 20 years From Now. The Viewpoint of a Political Leader.»
During his speech, Vladimir Zhirinovsky recalled his student years, his choice of career, his personal experience as a politician and the activities of the party. Turning to the core topic of his lecture, the speaker spoke about the causes of the Russian Revolution, the celebrations of its centenary and the current problems faced by Russia and the world.
Addressing the students in the audience, Vladimir Zhirinovsky gave some advice on how to find one’s place in life, how to choose one’s career path and be successful. After his speech, the guest took questions from the audience.
