Between March 29th and 31st the 11th Annual Willem C. Vis Pre-Moot Competition on international law and arbitration took place in Prague.
The MGIMO team consisted of K. Belyaeva (1st year MA, Private International and Civil Law), A. Konovalova (2d year BA, International Law), N. Zinoviev (1st year MA, Private International and Civil Law), D. Shamelo (4th year BA, International Law), V. Bulatova (1st year MA, Private International and Civil Law), V. Pankratova (1st year MA, Private International and Civil Law).
After successfully competing with students from the University of Göttingen (Germany), the Federal University of Bahia (Brazil), Palacký University Olomouc (the Czech Republic), Leipzig University (Germany) the MGIMO team came third in the final rating, leaving behind more than 20 teams that participated in the contest. Moreover, Ksenia Belyaeva was recognised as one of the best speakers.
We remind you that our team is to take part in the Pre-Moot in Belgrade (Serbia) which will be followed by the final competition in Vienna.
The English Department #8 and the Department of Private International and Civil Law ensured the high level of linguistic and legal preparation of the students.
