On August 29, the ceremony of welcoming and awarding student ID cards to freshmen of the English-speaking bachelor programs of the School of Government and International Affairs (SGIA) took place. Dr. A.K.Bobrov, Director of the School, delivered a welcome speech to the freshmen. He also emphasized that the coming year is a jubilee one for SGIA: this year the School celebrates its 10th anniversary.
Deputy Director of SGIA A.O. Torosyan explained the main procedures of work of the dean’s office with students. G.I. Shulkin, A.A. Chekryzhova and I.S. Aliev, specialists in educational work of the School, will help students to cope with adaptation problems.
This year we have competitively accepted into our three Bachelor programs 80 freshmen from 19 countries, including Russia, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Great Britain, Gambia, Germany, India, Italy, Kenya, Moldova, UAE, Syria, Slovakia, Spain, USA, Thailand, Turkey, Uzbekistan and South Africa.
