January 28th to February 7th, MGIMO’s second Winter School unfolded at the Marbella International University Center (MIUC).
Last year, the first Winter School was a success and the decision was made to pursue this line of cooperation and hold these schools on a regular basis. These events are a remarkable opportunity for students to acquire new knowledge, to make new acquaintances and to spend the winter holidays in a warm climate on the Spanish Coast.
This year’s program comprised lectures in English on a myriad of topics, including global security, terrorism, international stability and the role of the media, as well as intensive courses of Spanish as a foreign language. Students had the opportunity to engage in discussions with professors from MIUC and the University of West London as well as participate in a rich cultural program with excursions organized to Malaga and Ronda.
The campus of the Marbella International University Center is located in a picturesque villa with a beautiful tropical garden and offers modern facilities including a tennis court and a swimming pool on site.
