MGIMO on PricewaterhouseCoopers Supervisory and Academic Council

28 March 2019

March 28th, the Supervisory and Academic Council of the largest international consulting and audit company PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) held a meeting on the future of the labour market and how to face the challenges ahead. This year, MGIMO’s Vice-Rector for Human Resources Vladimir Morozov joined the company’s Supervisory and Academic Council.

The goal of the meeting was to bring together representatives of the business community and academics and discuss the future of the labour market, upcoming challenges and ways to overcome them. As noted by the management of several large firms, it has become a priority for corporations to cooperate with universities to help train and later recruit talented young people.

The speakers underlined the importance of working with students at different stages of the educational cycle. PwC representatives noted that the firm has already joined efforts with leading universities to improve the higher education system and promote best practices, research and joint projects.
