On June 21st, MGIMO University welcomed a delegation from the University of International Business and Economics led by Vice-Rector Prof. Hong Junjie.
UIBE and MGIMO University have been cooperating in various areas for over 15 years, including in the fields of academic and student exchanges and the joint dual degree master’s degree program Russia and China: Political and Economic Trends in Eurasia.
The first visit of a Chinese delegation since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic was devoted to expanding and deepening of the inter-university cooperation. MGIMO University was represented by the Vice-Rector for Human Resources Vladimir Morozov, the Advisor to the Rector’s Office and Director for Academic Communications Maxim Kharkevich, the Head of the Office for Master’s Degree Training Artem Illarionov, the Vice-Dean of the School of International Economic Relations Yana Saltykova, and the Deputy Head of the Office for Master’s Degree Training Maria Apanovich. Among the colleagues from the University of International Business and Economics were the Vice-Rector Prof. Hong Junjie, the Secretary-General of the Association of Sino-Russian Economic Universities Wu Jun, the Director of the Institute of International Business and Development Go Deyu, the Dean of the School of International Education Geng Huifang, and the Head of the Department of International Relations Wang Shanshan.
The parties discussed current issues of cooperation and outlined prospects for its further development.
