In June 2017, Superjob portal published a ranking of the 20 top Russian universities in three different spheres, IT, law and finance. MGIMO came 2nd for the level of salary of its graduates in two of these fields: law and finance.
The study analyzes the salaries of young professionals who obtained their diploma between 2011 and 2016, and selects the most highly paid. While calculating the rating, the analysts used a regional coefficient (linked to the average salary in a particular city) to adjust the salary levels and also took into account the average United State Exam score required for admission to a University and the percentage of graduates to remain in the city after graduation.
