On December 9th, MGIMO University hosted a solemn ceremony of signing the Agreement on MGIMO — LUISS Guido Carli (Rome) Bachelor’s Dual Degree Program.
The meeting was attended by the MGIMO Rector and member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Anatoly Torkunov, the Vice-Rector for Internationalization of the LUISS University Raffaele Marchetti and the Dean of the School of Governance and Politics Henry Sardaryan.
The School of Governance and Politics put forward the initiative of creating the first Russian-Italian Bachelor’s dual degree program in Russia as part of the Priority–2030 strategic academic leadership program.
The Russian students will spend their first and forth academic years at MGIMO, with their second and third academic years being organized in Rome. After the successful completion of the Bachelor’s degree program, the graduates will receive two diplomas: that of MGIMO (in State and Municipal Administration or Political Science) and that of LUISS University (in Political Science).
