MGIMO Students Win Sberbank Competition

MGIMO Students Win Sberbank Competition

29 March 2019

March 29th, in the framework of the «Shop Forever» business forum, the final of the Sberbank 2025 «Customer Care» competition, sponsored by the B2B Conference Group (BBCG) and the Retail Academy took place. Congratulations to the first year graduate students of the MGIMO Sectorial Marketing of Goods and Services program Arman Yeroyan and Vladislav Avdeev for winning the «Sberbank 2025: Office of the Future» contest!

The goal of the competition was to develop a client service concept under the conditions of digitalisation by providing an omni-channel seamless client experience in online and offline spaces. The concept should take into account Sberbank’s transformation into an ecosystem of nonfinancial products and services: the bank’s offices should become a space of opportunities to solve different clients’ tasks throughout their lives.

During the finals, MGIMO’s team came up against two teams from the Higher School of Economics, participants from Moscow State University and other universities but took the first place and was awarded a certificate for 105 thousand roubles.

The BBCG and the Academy of Retail have been supervising for four years MGIMO’s Sectorial Marketing of Goods and Services MA, which has for partners the leading Russian retail chains: «Alphabet of Taste», X5 Retail Group, Auchan, Vkusvill and others. These companies supervise the work of the graduates and help them to elaborate their original projects.
