The Russian International Affairs Council has published its annual report “Electronic Internationalization: English Internet Resources of Russian Universities”.
MGIMO University significantly strengthen its position and hit the top ten, improving its indicators and rising by five positions in the overall ranking of universities’ resources.
The comparative expert analysis of Russian and foreign universities also showed that the Russian raking leaders outperform the QS top 100 foreign universities by electronic internationalization in general as well as by the volume of content presented in most sections of their English websites.
Russian universities most successfully use the following internationalization mechanisms: creating a website in English, participating in online exhibitions of international education, creating landing pages in foreign languages for specific purposes, keeping an official English-language university page on Facebook, and posting university profiles on Russian websites for foreign applicants.
