September 18th, a polling station was opened at MGIMO's Odintsovo campus for the State Duma and the Moscow City Duma elections.
The Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill met with the Governor of the Moscow region, also a member of MGIMO's Board of Trustees, Andrey Vorobyov and Sergei Vasiliev, Head of MGIMO's Odintsovo campus, while performing their civic duty. Andrey Vorobyov and Sergei Vasiliev presented to Patriarch Kirill MGIMO's new campus and its educational priorities. They also touched upon plans for further development of the campus, and discussed the MGIMO Gorchakov Lyceum in Odintsovo.
