Open Day at MGIMO’s School of Government and International Affairs

25 March 2019

March 25th, MGIMO’s School of Government and International Affairs, which offers several Bachelors’ programs taught entirely in English, organized an open day for prospective students and their parents.

Andrey Baykov, the University’s Vice-Rector for Graduate and International Programs, spoke about the opportunities MGIMO offers to foreign students and the emphasis the University has put in recent years on developing high quality courses taught in English.

The Dean of the School of Government and International Affairs, Mikhail Troitskiy, made a presentation on the different English-language undergraduate programs in International Relations available: a four-year BA at MGIMO, a dual degree with the University of Reading (United Kingdom) and a program implemented by MGIMO at the Marbella International University Center (Spain).

Today 170 students from 36 countries study at School of Government and International Affairs. Two cohorts and a total of 19 students have already graduated from the School of Government and International Affairs. Half of them chose to pursue their studies at Master’s level in leading universities worldwide (the Universities of Tokyo, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Sciences Po Paris and IE Business School...), while the rest secured employment in private corporations in their countries of origin or in embassies.

Please read the interviews of our students on the advantages and challenges of studying with us at MGIMO’s School of Government and International Affairs, and find out about their professional paths after graduation.
