July 19th, MGIMO welcomed the Dean of Marbella International University Centre in Spain Aurora Mateos. The sides signed a memorandum on academic exchange and cooperation between the two universities.
The guests were received by MGIMO’s Vice-Rector for Graduate and International Programs Andrey Baykov, the Vice-Rector for Legal and Administrative Issues Sergei Shitkov and the Associate Professor of European Law Ekaterina Torkunova.
During the meeting, issues related to academic cooperation, student and faculty members exchanges, and the development of dual educational programs were mulled over. Aurora Mateos described the specificities of the Spanish University and the types of programs it offers in International Relations, International Business, PR and Journalism. A memorandum was signed at the end of the meeting.
