An established French publishing house Tallandier has published the textbook entitled “Le droit constitutionnel russe” (The Russian Constitutional Law), which was specifically designed for the French market by the authors from the MGIMO Constitutional Law Department. It was published thanks to the support of the Franco-Russian Civil Society Forum the Trianon Dialogue.
The publication is the first textbook on the current system of Russian constitutional law published in France. The book covers the basics of the constitutional order of the Russian Federation, presenting a comprehensive analysis of the system and the evolution and sources of Russian constitutional law as well as examining the key principles of the federal structure, the functioning of government and local self-government. The textbook takes into account the recent changes resulting from the 2020 constitutional reform.
