April 10th, the sixth Moscow International Education Fair, the main event in the field of education in Russia, began at VDNH. The fair, organized by the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, consists of an open forum and an exhibition of new educational technologies, infrastructure and creative solutions. MGIMO presented a separate stand at the exhibition.
The salon is a platform where educational professionals, state officials and businessmen can interact and find common solutions to current challenges in the educational system. The forum invites Russian and foreign companies to participate in the educational process and promotes public-private partnerships.
The Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Tatyana Golikova and the Minister of Science and Higher Education, Mikhail Kotyukov, welcomed the guests during the opening ceremony. The Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, took part in the All-Russian Open Lesson «Proyektoria».
On the first day of the event, a session of the Trianon Dialogue on «Russia and France Learning Together», moderated by MGIMO’s Vice-Rector for General Affairs Artem Malgin, took place. The Russian-French discussions were attended by representatives of the French embassy in Moscow, of cultural organizations and universities. The central topic of the Trianon Dialogue for 2019 is «Education and Enlightenment» and the participants discussed how to improve cooperation in education in the light of the development of new technologies.
MGIMO representatives also held a stand at the event, presenting the University’s new educational programs, its competitive advantages and answering questions about entrance examinations and student life.
