The Bar Association of India’s delegation headed by its President Paurush Kumar visited MGIMO University on 23 October and met with Rector, Academician Anatoly Torkunov. Also, a lecture was delivered to the students of the International Law School.
The meeting focused on the prospects for further cooperation between MGIMO University and higher educational institutions of India and issues related to the organization of the 10th BRICS Legal Forum at MGIMO University, which is scheduled to be held jointly with the Association of Lawyers of Russia in autumn 2024.
Thanniru Srinivas, a well-known lawyer, and Shattam Nuayan, an editor of the international legal journal Telugu Legal News, met with the representatives of MGIMO University, including Vice-Rector for Strategic Development Artem Malgin, Dean of the International Law School Nikita Molchakov and Head of the Department of Advocacy Aleksei Klishin.
During the visit, Mr Kumar delivered a lecture The Latest Trends in the Development of Indian Law for students of the International Law School and answered numerous questions.
