February 13th, the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Russian Federation, Haidar Mansur Hadi came to MGIMO, where he had an interview with the University’s Rector Anatoly Torkunov.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the situation in the Middle East, exchanged opinions about the Syrian conflict, the means for its peaceful settlement and Russia’s participation in this process.
Anatoly Torkunov and Ambassador Haidar Mansur Hadi also spoke about the different opportunities for cooperation between MGIMO and the Diplomatic Academy of Iraq.
