Forum of Russian and French Humanities Universities

April 14th-15th, the fourth Russo-French Forum of Rectors of humanities universities entitled «Russia-France: Dialogue and Trust in the Academic World» unfolded in Grenoble. MGIMO was represented at the event by its Vice-Rector for Human Resources, Vladimir Morozov.

The Forum has been operating since 2009 as a dynamic platform for dialogue between France and Russia. This year, MGIMO participated in the conference for the first time and it was warmly welcomed during the opening ceremony. The event gathered representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science, Rossotrudnichestvo, and Presidents of Russian and French universities.

A myriad of topics were included in the agenda of the Forum and heartily discussed, including how to promote multicultural understanding, the use of digital technologies in education, developing combined programs and certificates, cooperation in research, joint Franco-Russian scientific publications in Humanities and Social Sciences, graduates prospects on the labor market and the interaction of science, education and business.

Additionally, Vladimir Morozov had an interview with the President of the University of Grenoble Alpes, Lise Dumasy, during which they discussed the prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation, through dual Master programs, joint publishing and academic exchanges.
