March 10th, the 45th «Education and Career» exhibition opened at Gostiny Dvor. During the event, representatives of a multitude of Russian and foreign universities presented their institutions to prospective students. MGIMO, as has become a tradition, presented its own separate stand.
The leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia, Vladimir Zhirinovsky and the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Education and Science Boris Chernyshov participated in the opening ceremony and gave school leavers some recommendations. The speakers underlined the importance of choosing not only the right profession but also the right university, and invited the guests to seize this opportunity to get acquainted with a large number of institutions.
This year, the visitors of the exhibition could participate in seminars, test their abilities with quizzes, attend presentations of educational programs, undergo career tests and take part in business games.
Despite the various animations, MGIMO’s stand attracted a large number of students, curious about the conditions of admission to MGIMO University, the tuition fees and the employment prospects after graduation.
