March 2nd, MGIMO’s Rector Anatoly Torkunov and the University’s Vice-Rector for Research Evgeny Kozhokin welcomed the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik. After the meeting, the guest delivered a lecture to an audience of students and faculty members.
In his presentation, Milorad Dodik gave a detailed analysis of the geopolitical situation in the region, described the political system of Bosnia and Herzegovina and revealed the main reasons behind the breakup of Yugoslavia.
After his talk, Milorad Dodik took questions from the audience. Concluding the event, the Chairman of MGIMO’s Balkan Club Dmitry Chugunov thanked the President for his visit on behalf of all the students and faculty members of the University.
