April 23rd, International Student day took place at MGIMO University.
The event was kicked off by the Head of the International Department, Egor Andreev, who noted that currently 62 students from MGIMO are pursuing their studies in 40 different universities located in 23 countries, including Germany, Italy, Spain, Mongolia, Mexico, Poland, France, China, South Korea, Switzerland, Sweden, Japan and the United States.
MGIMO has now got 84 foreign exchange students from 33 partner universities studying within its walls. The University’s Vice-Rector for Graduate and International Programs Andrey Baykov gave a speech to the audience, congratulating students on this international occasion.
An exposition dedicated to International Student’s Day comprised stands representing 26 universities from 16 countries, including the University of Warsaw, the Geneva School of Diplomacy and International Relations (Switzerland), the University of Geneva (Switzerland), American University (USA), the Lille Institute for Political Sciences (France), Sciences Po Paris (France), the Chinese Institute of International Relations (China) and many more.
