December 5th-6th, the XXV International Career Day unfolded at MGIMO. This traditional job fair for students of MGIMO and other universities has now for the third time been held for two days.
The fair brought together representatives of Russian state structures, major Russian and international corporations as well as thousands of students looking for work experience. The event attracted in all about 4 500 people. Experts from the Central Bank of Russia, the Ministry of Justice, the law firms Alrud, Cleary Gottlieb, Vegas Lex and Debevoise & Plimpton, the consulting company Ernst & Young, and other firms delivered lectures and organized master classes for students.
A myriad of structures and corporations including the Russian Foreign Ministry, the Federal Tax Service, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Federal Agency for State Property Management, the Accounts Chamber, the United Nations Development Program, the Ministry of Economic Development, Uniqlo, SOGAZ, VTB and MAKS presented employment opportunities to students.
