July 14th, MGIMO’s Vice-Rector for General Affairs Artem Malgin welcomed a delegation from the Polytechnic University of Turin, led by its Rector Marco Gilli. A memorandum of understanding between the universities was signed as a result of the meeting. The cooperation is being developed with the support of «Rosneft».
The memorandum sets a framework within which the universities can develop academic exchanges of students and lecturers, implement dual masters programs, and joint MBA programs with the involvement of experts from leading Italian and Russian energy companies including the company «Rosneft».
Research and education within these programs will focus on such cutting-edge fields as innovation management, economics of innovation, the environment and the use of mineral resources. The parties will further collaborate to reach an agreement on the implementation of concrete programs.
