November 9th-10th, the 50th Moscow international exhibition «Education and Career» unfolded in Gostiny Dvor. The event brings together representatives of Russian and foreign universities, colleges, institutes and employers. MGIMO took part in the event and held a separate stand.
This year at the exhibition, students met with representatives of the universities and corporations of interest to them, participated in master classes and career guidance events, and attended lectures by famous Russian and foreign professors.
As was the case in previous events, students gathered at MGIMO’s stand and showed interest in the different programs offered by the University. MGIMO representatives described to students and their parents life and studies at the University, the specificities of the educational process, the new bachelor’s and master’s programs and graduates’ career prospects. Student volunteers noted that visitors were interested in the conditions for admission and the different programs. Parents expressed curiosity about educational fees and employment prospects upon graduation.
The exhibition is organized biannually and sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Government of Moscow. The exhibition is by its size and quality one of the main career events in Russia and globally.
