October 20th, the 46th International Exhibition «Education and Career» opened at Gostiny Dvor, in Moscow. The event gathered representatives of Russian and foreign universities and employers. MGIMO, as has become a tradition, presented its own separate stand.
The Director of the Organizing Committee of the exhibition, Valery Starchenko, greeted the guests and read out a welcome address on behalf of Russia’s Ministry of Education and Science and the Government of Moscow. A number of prominent guests attended the opening ceremony including the Chairman of the Communist Party, Gennady Zyuganov.
This year, students had the opportunity not only to discover various universities and the programs they offer but also to participate in training events and master-classes. On the first day of the exhibition, representatives of MGIMO gave a talk about the University and its specificities, the socio-cultural life within its walls, and the career prospects for graduates. MGIMO’s stand attracted the interest of many students, curious about the admissions process and tuition fees.
