On April 28, MGIMO will host the 8th Vietnam Day. A research conference is planned as a part of the program. This year the discussion will focus on reviewing the Vietnam’s activities in the UN on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of its membership within the organization. Vietnam diplomacy, especially its economic direction, and socio-political issues are also on the agenda.
Students, postgraduates, young researchers majoring in Vietnamese and studies are invited to participate in the conference.
The organizing committee welcomes papers on the following topics:
- Vietnam and the UN;
- Vietnam on the international arena;
- Economic diplomacy of Vietnam;
- Social-economic and political issues of Vietnam in the postpandemic period.
Participation format: hybrid.

The results will be announced by April 14.
