January 16th, the Rector of LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome, Andrea Prencipe, visited MGIMO.

The guest was received by the Rector of MGIMO, Anatoly Torkunov and the Vice-Rector for Graduate and International Programs, Andrey Baykov. The sides explored the different paths to expand collaboration in education. Since the signing of a memorandum of cooperation in 2011, the universities have become close partners and have launched a joint degree in International Relations.

The sides discussed the opportunity to create dual programs, to boost student exchanges and to launch joint research projects. After the meeting, Andrea Principe spoke with students of the University and remarked that the English Master program offers the unique opportunity to study Russian and Italian and discover the cultures of both countries.
