MGIMO Welcomes Henley Business School Students

July 17th, the study visit «Doing Business in Russia» for Henley Business School Students began at MGIMO University. The course was organized within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation between Henley Business School (University of Reading, Great Britain) and MGIMO’s School of Business and International Proficiency.

Henley Business School is widely recognized as one of the best institutions in Europe and is one of only 57 business schools to have gained triple accreditation (American, European and British).

28 students from Reading University participated in the study visit at MGIMO; citizens of Finland, Ireland, South Africa, Italy, Poland and the Czech Republic. During their eight-day stay, the guests will study the cases of some of the largest corporations, such as SAP, Delta Bank, Pioneer Company and Amec Foster Wheeler; attend lectures on Russian politics and economy; be taken on a visit of the Russian International Affairs Council, the British Embassy, and to many famous sites.

On the first day, the Students were welcomed by MGIMO’s Vice-Rector for General Affairs Artem Malgin, by the Vice-Rector for Graduate and International Programs Andrey Baykov, the Director of the School of Business Angelica Mirzoeva, the head of the MBA program Vasily Tkachev and other faculty members.
