First Cohort of Students Graduate from MGIMO English BA Program

June 22nd, the graduation ceremony of the first students to be enrolled in MGIMO’s new English-language undergraduate program took place at the University.

MGIMO’s Vice-Rector for Graduate and International Programs, Andrey Baykov, the Vice-Rector for Human Resources, Vladimir Morozov and the Director of the School of Government and International Affairs, Mikhail Troitsky extended their congratulations and presented diplomas to students from Italy, China, Nicaragua and Norway.

Andrey Baykov and Mikhail Troitsky thanked the alumni for their hard work and for their contribution to the development of the new four-year English language program. They also expressed gratitude to the students’ parents for their trust in MGIMO and its ability to develop a competitive BA program.

The guests and students thanked the administrative staff and faculty members of the School of Government and International Affairs for their daily work, which ensured the success of the program. Some of the graduates plan to join immediately the diplomatic missions of their countries, while others will pursue their education at MA level at some of the world’s leading universities.
