U.S. Students to Spend Semester at MGIMO

6 February 2019

In February, for the fifth time, a group of students from leading American universities came to Moscow to attend a training program organized by MGIMO’s School of Business and International Proficiency and the US Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE).

The opening ceremony of the Business and International Relations program took place on February 6th. The guests were greeted by MGIMO’s Vice-Rector for General Affairs Artem Malgin, who took them to visit the University’s History Museum, as well as by the Director of the School of Business Angelika Mirzoyeva, its Deputy Director Evgeny Glazov and the CIEE Program Director based in Moscow, Nancy Kogin.

During their time at MGIMO, the students attend a series of lectures on international relations and take part in a rich cultural program, which includes visits to the Russian foreign ministry and of major sights and museums in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Students get the opportunity to increase their proficiency in Russian, all the while familiarising themselves with the Russian culture and traditions.
